At first, CrossFit can appear to be a little intimidating, especially if you have not worked out in a while, have an injury, or are brand new to the fitness world. 

Bootcamp is a Workout of the Day (WOD) alternative offered to any athlete who may need a less challenging, yet well-rounded workout! Not everyone walks into a CrossFit gym ready to pick up heavy weights and go which makes this a great option for beginners and anyone who prefers to not use a barbell. 

At Out of the Box, we make sure that the athletes who choose the Bootcamp version perform the same functional movements by substituting the barbell with bodyweight, dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, and other accessories. Bootcamp is exceptionally great for young athletes and seniors.

Even though you may initially choose the route of Bootcamp, you can always switch into the regularly programmed CrossFit workouts by taking an on-ramp. The choice is yours! Come in, workout at your pace, and remember we will always be helping you along the way!
